Your gateway to exclusive, token-gated communities on Solana.

Memo Bot works on both Telegram and Discord. The commands and verification process are the same—only the platform setup differs slightly.

Joining a Token-Gated Community

Telegram Workflow

  1. Click the group's invite link → You'll see "Request to Join"
  2. Check your DMs with @memo_verification_bot for instructions
  3. Complete wallet verification (see below)
  4. Your join request is automatically approved!

Wallet Verification

The verification process is identical on both platforms:

Provide Your Wallet Address

Run the verify command with your Solana wallet address:

/verify <YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS>

Example: /verify 7Xw9mR2k3nP5qL8vT1yU4cB6zF3sH9jNabc123def456

Complete the Magic Memo

The bot responds with unique instructions:

After sending, run /sent

Important:

  • Send from your wallet to your wallet (same address)
  • Amount must be exact (copy-paste the value)
  • You only lose network fees (~$0.0002)

Send the Transaction

Using your Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, etc.):

  1. Set recipient to your own wallet address
  2. Enter the exact SOL amount shown
  3. Send the transaction

Confirm Verification

Wait 10-30 seconds for blockchain confirmation, then:

/sent

Success!

Once verified, you'll see a confirmation message and gain access to the community.

Multi-Wallet Support

Link multiple wallets to combine your holdings:

The bot automatically aggregates balances from all linked wallets.

Troubleshooting

"Transaction not found"

  1. Wait: Solana can take 30-60 seconds. Try /sent again.
  2. Check amount: Must be exact (copy-paste recommended)
  3. Check recipient: Must send to yourself (same address)
  4. Too old: Transactions expire after 5 minutes. Run /verify again.

Lost access to community

  1. Run /mystatus to see your current balance vs. requirement
  2. You may have sold below the minimum threshold
  3. Verify additional wallets with /verify if you hold tokens elsewhere

Verification Security

The self-transfer method is secure:

  • ✅ Never asks for private keys
  • ✅ Never requires wallet connection
  • ✅ Reads public blockchain data only
  • ✅ Self-transfer proves ownership cryptographically

Technical Requirements

  • Telegram or Discord account
  • Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, Ledger, etc.)
  • ~0.002 SOL for verification
  • Required tokens for the specific community

FAQ

Q: Is verification free?
A: Yes. Only standard Solana network fees apply (~$0.0002).

Q: Can I verify once for multiple communities?
A: Yes! One verification works for all Memo-gated groups on both platforms.

Q: Can I link multiple wallets?
A: Yes. Run /verify for each wallet. Balances are combined.

Q: What if I fall below the token requirement?
A: You'll be removed (Telegram) or lose the Verified role (Discord) during the next audit. Buy tokens to regain access.
